Overview

Lindhurst is a strategic neighbourhood designed to provide new homes and employment space for Mansfield, supported by community facilities. The site scale requires phased delivery, with infrastructure planned to enable multiple plots to come forward in a coordinated sequence. The objective is to create a coherent place that works for residents and businesses from early occupation through to full completion.

Solution

Delivery is structured around an infrastructure-first strategy, aligning land, delivery capability and long-term stewardship. Phasing is used to manage interfaces between residential areas, employment land and community facilities, while maintaining clear governance across partners. The approach focuses on practical delivery controls, including utilities, access, logistics, and stakeholder communication.

Outcome

The scheme is planned to add meaningful housing supply and employment capacity to the Mansfield area, with community provision embedded in the neighbourhood framework. The phased model supports steady progress while maintaining cohesion and clear community value at each stage.
